Punch on the Patio Case Study

Punch on the Patio is a curated summer gathering hosted by Ready. Set. Pivot.—created to celebrate women, community, and the people who make everything happen behind the scenes.
Event Details
Set against relaxed NE Minneapolis patio vibes, the event paired intentional networking with great music, food from a chef named Food & Wine’s 2025 Restaurant of the Year, plus inspiring speakers and a custom punch (both N/A and spirited) that quickly became a crowd favorite. Equal parts unapologetic and welcoming, the experience invited guests to show up as they were, skip the small talk, and connect in a way that felt genuine, empowering, and fun.

My Role
Led full event direction, logistics, and design coordination, managing communication with the venue and vendors so the client could stay focused on hosting and community engagement rather than operational details.
Designed and executed the full event aesthetic, including sourcing décor, managing third-party vendor agreements, and creating all floral installations for the event.
Built and managed the complete event production timeline, overseeing setup, guest flow, programming cues, and full teardown within strict venue access windows.
Provided on-site leadership by directing lead voices, coordinating speakers and sponsors, collaborating with the photographer and DJ, and ensuring guests felt supported through a concierge-style experience.
Served as the central point of execution, troubleshooting in real time and maintaining seamless flow across arrivals, programming moments, and event close for a stress-free, elevated experience.

This event carried high expectations, as it’s a signature experience the host is known for—requiring seamless execution that honored past years while subtly elevating the experience without disrupting its familiar energy. The challenge was balancing precise timelines, elevated styling, guest flow, and concierge-level hospitality, all while building strong Plan A and Plan B layouts for unpredictable Minnesota weather.
Coordinating venue service, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, check-in transitions, and end-of-night teardown demanded real-time problem-solving to ensure the evening felt effortless for guests and completely stress-free for the host.

Through proactive communication, hands-on leadership, and detailed coordination with the venue, speakers, sponsors, and creative partners, the event delivered a stress-free experience for the host and an intentional, feel-good experience for every guest.
