Where are you located?

We are located in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area (MN) however we travel all over MN and all other the States. Our most frequented states happen to be MN, WI, IA, NE, CA, and CO.

Do you travel?

Yes all over! Within our 30-mile radius of Cottage Grove, MN, no additional travel fees are included. If you’re destination is outside the 30-mile radius we are happy to chat about what your travel fee would look like.

What types of events do you manage/oversee?

We manage and oversee most types of events.

What does it mean when you say you run teams for florists or planners?

Florists and Planners have a ton of moving logistics happening the week of their event as well as the day of their event. The florist/planner has a team that helps bring their visions to life but the main florist/planner can only be in one spot at one time and that’s where we jump in. We are the florist/planner’s right hand, managing their team, making sure tasks are accomplished, timeline for the teams are being met and the florist/planner can breath easily knowing their team is being managed, their vision is coming to life and they get to focus on their clients or the overall vision.  

Do you still do floral?

Yes! We have at $3,000 minimum for our own floral clients. We do florals for all types of events and handle anything from personal florals to large installations.

Why should I hire an event planner?

Ohhhh where to start… there are a hundred reasons to hire a planner but the main one (IMO) is to keep your sanity and safeguard your precious time! We are the experts in how to accomplish these tasks and the thousands of details, emails, calls, meetings, etc… Why work at planning when you can work with us, have fun and keep your peace?!? We are happy to chat with you more about the hundreds of reasons why you should hire a planner! 

What is Clarity Then Cake

This is our judgment-free wedding consulting experience for engaged (and almost-engaged) couples who want to slow down and figure things out before the planning spiral begins. Through thoughtful questions, expert insight, and honest conversations, we help you understand what’s realistic, get aligned, and move forward with confidence and direction. 

Do I have to hire you for more services if I go through the Clarity Then Cake consulting package?

Nope! As much as we would LOVE to continue planning with you, we understand we are not the perfect fit for everyone BUT we also still want everyone thinking about getting married or already engaged to have the tools and clarity we feel is necessary to start this next chapter off on a stress-free fun start! 

Can I hire you to consult me on my event if you’re not running it?

Yes! We are the logistics nerds when it comes to running events! We would LOVE to work with you and your event (obviously) but regardless if we are running it or not, we want you to have all the information needed for a smooth flowing, stress-free, great guest experience event. We walk through what is holding you up, what should be considered, kept, tossed out, etc… even if we are not your team to execute day-of.
