My Role

  • Led event direction and logistics for a dual-purpose Galentine’s brunch and styled shoot, integrating guest experience flow with post-event production needs.

  • Audited and expanded the vendor team, coordinating contributions, product donations, and giveaways while aligning all partners on creative vision, quantities, and brand exposure.

  • Built and managed the day-of production timeline, overseeing setup, food service logistics, cleanup, and interactive activations including the bouquet bar, photo moments, and guest giveaways.

  • Directed styled shoot operations, collaborating with the photographer, hair and makeup teams, and models to capture cohesive, market-ready content that served both the event vision and vendor marketing goals.

Decorated indoor party space with round tables covered in white tablecloths, set with colored napkins, utensils, and glassware. A backdrop of colorful balloons and star-shaped decorations surrounds a cozy brown sofa with pillows. The room has large windows and high, angled ceilings with wooden beams and a hanging light fixture.

Brought in late to the planning process, the initial challenge was quickly auditing and redirecting logistics to create a guest flow that felt intentional, elevated, and worthy of a high-quality experience. A smaller venue required strategic layout planning to maximize ticket sales and ROI without sacrificing comfort, while tight load-in windows and a limited on-site team meant every task had to be streamlined and prioritized.

Layering a styled shoot immediately after the brunch added complexity—from managing models, hair and makeup, and wardrobe—while ensuring that any trial-and-error happening behind the scenes never disrupted the guest experience.

The Challenge

Execution and Strategy

Brought in during the later planning stages, I audited the event from start to finish, identifying gaps in logistics, vendor support, and guest flow to elevate both the attendee and collaborator experience. I built a detailed, step-by-step production timeline covering venue access, guest arrival, activations, model prep, and the styled shoot, allowing for efficient execution and real-time pivots within tight timeframes.

Working closely with my co-host, I aligned strategy and creative direction to optimize ROI, streamline operations, and ensure the vision translated seamlessly for guests and vendor partners alike.

Everything was set, styled, and photo-ready before guests arrived, setting the tone for a bright, high-energy event from the moment doors opened. On-time vendor arrivals, smooth model prep, and a well-run timeline kept the day flowing effortlessly, leaving plenty of room for fun at the bouquet bar, photo moments, and giveaways—where every guest left with something in hand and a smile on their face.

The neon Valentine’s vibe fully landed, with guests embracing the theme, hyping each other up, and already asking about next year’s event before they even walked out the door.
